New Mesh for my art
As some of you know, I upgraded the mesh "skeleton" of my people in the 3D Art Studio software I use. With that comes a lot of rework, as I learn the new style and figure out all the new sliders and buttons.
With that said, of course my first test was to fix Power Girl, but I also made Arsenelle as my first test. I am happy with the outcome on both, and my next major project will be to make a male mesh. Rao help me. lol
Anyways, on to the art. Tell me what you think, please.
this one is a close up of Power Girl. The old image looked more cartoony the closer I went in for the pic. This new mesh allows me to go as far as even the sparkle in her eyes, and keeps her skin more human looking, and less shiny. the other thing is the expressions look more realistic. I am really happy with how she turned out.
Pulling back a little further, you can see I am still trying to get her old cape to fit the new mesh. For the most part it worked, but it still distorted it a little. Overall though, I think it looks good.
This one is Supergirl. I am still not done with this pic, but I am showing you how different I can get her look, and make her more "Teenager" looking with this new mesh. I know the costume is not fitting right, and I am still working on it.
This one I am really proud of. It is a stare-down with Power Girl being the one to back off. Arsenelle does not look happy, now does she? Notice the close up details in both of them. I really love this new mesh.
Here I made Lara Kal-el from our community, and Power Girl. Both were made with the new mesh, and I am pretty happy with the outcome. Yes, I am trying high heels on Power Girl. I kinda like the look.
This one was just a test to see how the new mesh looked with the old one and to show that I learned a trick. I can pose the Iron Man suit like I never was able before. Before, it was all broken looking, now I know how to fit it so that it looks more fluid. This is Beam, Power Girl and Lara Kal-El.
And what does the future hold? I am working on the new male mesh right now, but I can't post it yet, cause the mesh is not ready. I will have something to show by end of week, maybe. Meanwhile, I am also working on another teenager model... Cometgirl (Or whomever she becomes)
I hope you enjoyed the work as much as I enjoyed making it. Please tell me what you think. Is the lighting right? Do the faces look more realistic than before? Does the costume look like it fits better? Anything.
Also, believe it or not, someone at Deviant Art has asked me to make a commission. I never thought I would be paid for doing what I love to do. I am still working out the details, but wow. Money for pics that I love to do anyways? LOL. Anyways, time to get ready for work.

Re: New Mesh for my art
Oh, good, this is the first time I've seen PG in the same place as Beam without her trying to break his suit!

Re: New Mesh for my art
that would be because they aren't completely finished yet, Adora. It's mostly she's happy that shes gotten the looks updated and are able to do much more with them than before.
She still has to give the bodies a "fleshed out" appearance and work on the lighting. Basically she's showing updates for things since she got her art programs back.

Re: New Mesh for my art
I don't mind it. Truthfully, I think it gives her a "sparkle in her eye"
I'll go in my corner now...
