"It's good to see you again too. Even more so when you aren't using those claws on me," Jaeger smiled lightly at Darkcylde beneath his helmet only for it to fade as she drove her claws into the wounded but far from helpless Amazon warriors.
Her demand for him to not take any prisoners gave the Ysherian-born human a moment of pause before he charged after Majicka as well. Many of Earth's protectors would not have condoned even the slaying of such dangerous and ruthless adversaries, and their interest in having prisoners to question or even rehabilitate had some merit...but he and Weaver had already stormed one of Avalonia's laboratory-fortresses. They had seen what letting the renegade Amazons live to fight another day meant and knew that in some cases "merely" being killed by them in battle might have been a mercy.
Jaeger's grip on his blade tightened.
Between Darkchylde's nose and his and Weaver's arcane senses, there seemed to be no hope for Majicka to evade her pursuers.
He landed on one of the rooftops overlooking and visible from the pier. The man's jaw tightened at the sight of the floating fortress materializing out of thin air, along with at least one squad of the elite Amazons dragging a prisoner aboard, Avalonia herself standing at their head, and...a blindfolded entity. A half-human hybrid? A being conjured from another realm? A particularly exotic meta-human...?
Whoever or whatever she was, the half-serpentine woman was bound and blindfolded as a prisoner of the Amazons.
"If I draw their attention, can you flank them?" Jaeger spared Darkchylde a swift glanced as he prepared to leap down from his perch.
Naturally, he and Weaver were scrutinizing the Gorgon with their magic-detecting and analyzing senses as well, but if Avalonia had done something to conceal her secret weapon's power or it was simply too unique and exotic for the Ysherian pair to recognize before it was too late, those efforts would have been fruitless.
Even if they weren't, Weaver would have to deactivate the bulk of her eye-lights and leave Jaeger stuck with "just" the ones allowing him to see from his helmet.

As Darkchylde arrived at the location with Jaeger she frowned seeing the “Gorgon” creature and instantly looking away from it before closing her eyes. “Don’t look at it, I’ve fought something like it before.” She said.
“It can turn you to stone if you even glance at it in the eye…” She said as both sets of claws extended outwards. She could hear orders being barked and growled. “That woman.. there she is.”
“WHO ARE YOU? WHY ARE YOU AFTER ME?!” she shouted as arrows began flying. She’d deflect them with her claws, then spoke to him. “I’ll deal with the Amazons, you deal with the Gorgon. Good luck!” She said grinning then ran off, jumping from the roof to the ground where she’d engage the Amazons.
Watching her fight was like watching a wild animal with a sentience and purpose.
She was savage.
Her claws moving in a whirlwind of magical and technological steel as they deflected and parried blades while dodging the massive tail of the gorgon all in several moves. “Load her up now!” she could hear Amazons screaming out now as her body began to get shot with arrow after arrow. But it wasn’t slowing her down, it was only making her more feral, turning her into a more savage killing machine.
“AHHH!” someone screamed out as she jumped on top of one of the women and began to tear into her with her claws, shredding armor, bone, flesh and sinew. “Who’s next!”

The Gorgon was nothing to be trifled with. It was a massive, naga like creature which also happened to have one of the most powerful magical abilities known. It could turn ANYTHING to stone, no matter what it was. It hissed at Jaeger, grinning.
“Yesssss ,mistressss... Come boy... look into my eyessssss...and join my collection... or become my dinner!” She shrieked, charging Jaeger as it slithered with a supernatural skill and speed. It moved so fast it would leave after images, and any stray Amazons who got in the way were instantly turned to stone. It would try to get behind Jaeger and use the massive halbred it had to slam into his chest, trying to send him flying while getting him to open his eyes.
“Look at me.. thisssss can be over sooooon...”
Meanwhile Black Majicka would walk to Avalonia and kneel at her side. “Mistress. I apologize.” she said and looked down. “I failed to capture either of them.”
Avalonia looked forward stoically. “It's fine. We have them all in one place. Even if the rest of you fail, I shall deal with them myself.” She said with arms crossed over her chest. The Amazons were not faring so well...
“go, deal with your big sister. Bring her in before she kills anymore of them.” Black Majicka nodded. “Yes ma'am!” and off she went, firing several rounds at her from behind.
Meanwhile in the hold of the ship, another woman, an older woman would slap Orithia a few times to wake her up.
“You are now a prisoner of the Black Flag. You can pledge your loyalty to The Mistress, Avalonia, or you can rot here.. Or we can force your compliance. Answer quickly for she will be down here shortly to hear your answer.”

After having found herself bound in the chains and slapped to consciousness, Orithia looked toward the woman that hit her and she simply glared at her. "You think it will be that simple? Let Avalonia come. I will speak to her only as it is. Your presence only serves to give me a head ache." Grunting softly as she looked at her situation, Orithia winced softly and took a moment to look about the room before she'd continue to speak.
"About What you have me here for. tell me, did your friends in the squad that attacked me. Did they enjoy the thrashing they received? You're by yourself here. the moment I'm loose you may find nice isn't a word I wish to consider for striking me." After she spoke, Orithia winced once more as she lifted her face to look toward the doorway as though she wasn't already in her bruised, bloodied, and bound state. So much so anyone could tell that she was indeed one of the fabled women of the gods, an Amazon through and through.

If Jaeger and Weaver weren't capable of recognizing what the Gorgon's magic was capable of on their own, Darkchylde's warning clenched it.
The Ysherian blademaster nodded and the eye-lights on his living armor blinked out entirely. The magic his serpentine foe boasted gave he and Weaver a powerful "scent" to follow as they lunged forward to meet her. The scraping of her scales against the ground and the rush of displaced air that followed her every movement gave Jaeger's more human senses something to work with as well.
Several of Weaver's blinded tendrils lunged from their positioned behind his back to intercept the heavy halberd.
"Ngh...!" JAeger's grunt and the sound of metal slashing into his living armor echoed through the docks. The Gorgon's weapon had been only partially deflected and the bulk of the blow's momentum sent the hero flying forward. The tendrils tightened their hold on it, trying to drag the gorgon forward with him as Jaeger jammed his heel into the asphalt and concrete.
The ground cracked beneath him and then all but exploded as he hurled himself back towards the mythological menace! His sword cut through the air with tremendous power and skill, yet the attempted slash to the Gorgon's torso definitely lacked the precision Jaeger usually boasted. He might have been able to get an idea of her general location and movements at any given moment, but little more than that...

“Sister…” She growled as the three rounds slammed into her back. The necromantic magic shells wreaked havoc on her healing factor. The wounds were healing, just extremely slowly. She turned, cracking her neck as she stared at Black Majicka.
“I’m not sure why you’re working for this !@#$, but it doesn’t matter much to me.” She said and would walk towards Black Majicka, using her claws to deflect her bullets to the side as she continued. “After I deal with you I’m going onto that ship and dealing with her.” She then suddenly charged her now and tried to jam her claws into Black Majicka’s chest.
Her fighting style was fast and brutal, with a purposeful savagery that denoted the harshness of her training and upbringing. Hers was similar to a lion, or wolf, or bear, or perhaps all in one wrapped into a skin of ultra-violence and viciousness.
“Twirling your little guns won’t be enough to save you from me!” She roared out. For now she was ignoring the Gorgon and Jaeger’s fight as her bloodlust had her focused squarely on the woman in front of her, her “sister”.

The Gorgon was not prepared for Jaeger’s strength and speed. So as the tendrils dragged her forward she used the halberd to sever them, just in time for Jaeger’s semi blind sword strike to her torso to strike. The force of the blast actually rattled her bones and he’d get the satisfying feeling of is sword biting into her scales. They were tough but he managed to penetrate them as she went flying backwards, slamming into a wall.
“Ah you are strong hmm? I shall no longer hold back then…” The creature said. He’d hear its black blood dripping on the ground then suddenly… nothing! No sound, no nothing at all. He’d feel the air change and what felt like a fog roll in. The the gorgon would hiss, its laughter echoing from all directions now then suddenly the halberd would come from ABOVE! And suddenly from the SIDE! Both strikes coming in opposite directions her laugh came from.
“Did your mother not teach you anything boy?! You look a lady in the eye when you’re courting her!” She cackled, feeing she had the advantage.
Meanwhile Darkchyle was engaged in a battle of her life with Black Majick, who was using her guns to parry her claws while firing point blank into their face. She’d duck and dodge, wincing as a claw bit into her shoulder while she ducked and fired several rounds towards Dark’s abdomen and rolling backwards, firing as she did to try to put some distance between them.
“Shotgun.”
Her two handguns changed into a auto shotgun, the magical runes embedded glowing brightly as she fired several times at Dark now while marching forward.
Avalonia meanwhile entered the ship and walked towards Orithia’s cell. The old woman bowed her head as she entered the cell and looked at Orithia. Avalonia was a..proto Amazon. A breed created well before the current Amazons. She was the “first” attempt at creating a powerful race of warrior women and it showed. Her body was physically almost perfectly toned with muscle and fat, her face, symmetrical almost down to a eerier degree.
She was also powerful. Powerful enough to cause worry to the queen and her daughter.
“You fought well for one of them.” She said, looking down at the chained woman. “But you have to realize it was a losing fight. So you have reached me, now what? What do you wish to know hmm? Your true history? Who I TRULY AM? Why I am doing this? Since you fought so well I’ll give you a moment to ask your question before you’re forced into servitude.”

Looking up to see Avalonia she sighed out before looking the proto amazon up and down. "While, thank you for the compliment. I would have taken down more, had I been really trying. Truth is, they attacked me for no reason. Had they held the brains to ask without trying to tell me I wasn't going to try to get in their way, they would have found out I wasn't going to fight at all."
After a moment Orithia looked down and then glanced over toward the woman that had slapped her before she replied. "I was ordered to stop searching you out. I was removed from Themyscira and placed in exile for the last meeting we had. Tonight the Queen and Princess Diana tried to order me back, but I refused because trying to ignore your presence is foolish. So my question, is a simple one. Will you teach me all you have stated? Please, mold me. I served the Queen loyally until she removed that loyalty. You have proven your mantle I will not struggle against you. Please I will do anything to earn your favor."
After saying this, Orithia looked down and chains willing she'd slump down to her knees, kneeling.

Jaeger felt a sense of grim determination as he felt the Gorgon's hide resist his blade. The scales did eventually cave beneath his swing and black blood was drawn before the snake-woman was sent hurtling backward, but it took a considerable amount of effort to achieve that. Not good. He couldn't rely on consistently striking such solid blows against a foe like this, and piercing thrusts were precision-based attacks that might have been tricky to land even if he weren't fighting blind...
Then...something in the air changed and what senses Jaeger had were clouded as well. He was blinded to the supernatural fog that seemed to suppress sound around him. Perhaps his and Weaver's ability to sense magic might have helped still, but if the fog itself was rich in magic...well, it would be a bit like trying to pick out one heat signature in a burning building if the Gorgon could conceal her own!
Her laughter filled the air and Jaeger twisted to and fro, his sword raised. The rush of air gave away the halberd's first strike and a loud *clang* rang through the docks as the Ysherian's weapon narrowly caught the heavier blade! Jaeger was hammered down onto the ground and the polearm's shaft caught his collarbone. The racket made detecting the followup blow the same way impossible. The halberd smashed into his side, earning pained gasp from Jaeger as is penetrated his armor and bit into the flesh beneath.
"Grah...!" Sparks flew as the young man skidded across the ground before he managed to right himself into a crouched martial stance.
"My culture doesn't have family units..." Jaeger's breathing was heavier than before, but what tendrils were not restored once the severed portions rejoined the whole were swiftly being replaced by Weaver manifesting more of herself. "One of my instructors did tell me a career in the military would be a great way to meet exotic women. That one seems to be working out pretty well..."
The next time the halberd came down, Jaeger intended to get a grip on it with either a hand or Weaver's tendrils regardless of whether it connected with him or not. If he could manage that, he could follow the polearm's length back to the serpentine woman. This time, he intended to spring upon and hopefully pin her to the ground. It would be very risky strategy, but if he could wound her quickly and deeply enough, the tide would be turned even if she could slip away again...

She was about to pounce on Black Majicka when.. BOOM! The shot gun went off and slammed into her mid section. She took a took and fell to a knee, frowning deeply as she felt her wounds not closing...
"Ugh.. you..necrotic !@#$..." she said and would begin to go into a rage. Her claws streaked against the ground, kicking up large chunks of the earth towards Black majicka as she jumped upwards, landing behind the woman.
While in the air she tried to jam her claws into Black's shoulders to disable her arms with two well precise strikes. If not countered, while behind her she'd then try to jam both claws into the woman's back.
"Stop playing with that thing Jaeger!"
