History:
Terrance Michael Ledger was a sixteen year old boy, who lived in a small Gotham apartment with his single father. His father claimed to have been a scientist at LexCorp, but had odd hours for such a job.

One night, Terry had walked into his father's study to find his corpse laying in the office chair. Slumped over, he'd written several numbers in blood. "90300" The code would fit in the safe, which had been pulled to the middle of the room. Instantly Terry leapt to the black box, entering the code and stepping back. To his surprise his father's safe held not only several very top secret files, but a suit of black and red armor with the emblem of a Dragonfly on the breast, and many guns as well as a mysterious key. Searching amongst Mike (his father)'s bookcases, he found a red book with the same logo on the spine. As he removed it he noticed a small keyhole, to which he inserted the key. A small click and the bookcase was opened. Inside were various minerals, trophies, weapons, and more. At the end of the room was a large hammer entitled "MJOLNIR 2.7". The hammer was large and black, but had an odd greenish glow.

Terry approached it, reaching out when suddenly a grid burst out from the casing. "DNA CODING SEQUENCE ENABLED. DNA IDENTIFIED: TERRANCE L. WELCOME SIR." The image turned to that of his father Michael. "My son." He seemed to have an emotion of regret and suffering. "If you're watching this, then I must have passed on. I'm sorry I've left you without telling you the truth. Yes, I worked for LexCorp, but my occupation has never been revealed to you, not fully. The absolute truth is that for the past ten years, I've been a mercenary under LexCorp's employment. My task is to hunt and crush any potential threat that may surface in Gotham. The hammer you've tried to retrieve is the MJOLNIR 2.7, It's made from Nth metal and Kryptonite. Nth is one of the most durable of alien metals achievable, Kryptonite is made from the fragments of Krypton. The only weakness of a Kryptonian such as Superman. Nth will give you the ability to fly. The suit you may have seen has a jetpack included, and is made from the strongest of Earth's metals, as well as many functions included in the helmet. I don't have much time left, so unfortunately you'll need to test drive what you can. The woman after me is called "Shilen". Shilen is a vampress and not to be trifled with. If you do decide to go after her, I caution you, please be careful. I love yo-" the video cut to static. Terry's breakdown ensued, as he took his anger upon the walls of the sanctuary. Instantly, his face turned toward the safe. He equipped himself with what he could grab, suited up, and was off. Over his month long crusade against Shilen as the Tech hero "Revengeance", she'd nearly broken him. Leaving him to die, he lay broken and bruised. Thus his salvation arrived. Burrowing itself into his skin, the Exobyte initially began to burn him, sparks flying from its twitching being. The creature was defective due to an error in its coding.

The creature held a mixture of data from Superman and The Joker. From this combination he gained the ability to leap tall buildings, run at superhuman speeds, have super human strength, and be nearly invincible. Negatively however came his split personality disorder. His mind broke into two beings, the good of which called Vengeance, and the evil called Revenge. Revenge being a clown-like hammer wielding villain bent on crushing anyone who could possibly become more powerful than he was, and Vengeance being a stereotypical comic book hero. Revenge took control after some time and nearly caused the deaths of many heroes, among them being Supergirl, Black Alexis, Joanna Blachor, Sigma Girl, and the rest of the common company associated with that group. Eventually he'd established himself as the secondary to another Gotham villainess known as Maniaphobia.

Finally he had gone one on one with Superman himself, once he'd found his way into Metropolis and caused Supergirl to need surgical assistance in the Watchtower. Kal-El, angered by the impending death of his cousin, broke. After Solar charging he'd taken on Revenge, but his recklessness and anger would cost him the battle. A bruised and battered Kal would later launch into the Watchtower at high velocity, hit like a baseball. Revenge began his evil reign in Metropolis, announcing himself as the Clown King.

Supergirl finally healed up, and challenged him once more, with nearly the entirety of the heroes that commonly surrounded her. He'd become an over powered menace to society. The battle ended with his defeat. After retreating, he'd come in contact with several villains. Working closely with Lex Luthor and The Joker, he came in contact with a third party. Brother Blood became his mentor for a long while. Blood himself summoned a demon by the title of Eromez Terox. Eromez intruded Revenge's body, giving him demonic power. After months of battles and wars, Supergirl and her team eventually exercised the demon (Whom later returned as the Malevolent Superlord) and had Revenge sent to Arkham in a power-proofing cell.

During his treatment, Revenge seemed to vanish and Vengeance seemed to surface. He played a large role in defending Supergirl when Shilen had accused her of murder, and property destruction, even giving her points to bring up of how she couldn't have been guilty. During a large prison riot at Arkham Asylum, Vengeance broke free from his restraints and worked back to back with several Gotham heroes, including The Batman, to put down the large scale war-esque riot. After this two day long event, he'd finally been let out and declared sane. For nearly a year afterwards he began to work as a hero, until finally he was crushed in a large battle against a Doomsday-like clown called Krazeo. His remains shipped to LexCorp, he vanished for another half of a year along with his fabled hammer. Lex had been hard at work, separating the hammer as much as he could, and having the fragments placed inside of Terry's body while inducting him in brainwashing courses, bringing back the broken mind of Revenge, which now was hell bent on destroying the girl who he accused of causing all of this, Supergirl.

Re: Revenge

Welcome back, I guess?

Another convoluted, vastly powerful character, I see.

Will you be sticking around with this one, or throwing a fit and "quitting" when we point out the obscene power levels you're using again?

It's really a shame, because the character concept started out really strong, (in quality, that is) and then took a right towards Overpoweredville.

I wish we could see this character that you created using the history portion up until the bookcase. Scrap that and everything after it, and you've got a fresh, interesting character--a kid who just found out that his now-dead father had a mysterious secret identity, and a suit of armor.

Why the need to add Nth metal and Kryptonite? It just says "I want to be the most powerful guy around no matter what." And that's just juvenile and lame.

Re: Revenge

Too me, anyone that uses Kryptonite in such quantity is just someone that cannnot think of anything else to try on a Kryptonian. I have spent so much time with people, trying to show other weaknesses that they have that anytime I see Kryptonite, I sigh softly.

I would love to see this guy do other things. I mean his first encounter with Supergirl and he immediately used Kryptonite claws. How about keep that as a major weapon and try other stuff, first? The elctrical attack is good, but a EMP? You do know she is not a robot, right?

This is something new from Superlord? We are surprised Superlord needs to make an obscenely overpowered and highly convoluted character? I completely agree with you GG, but he's got no reason to do anything differently if people are going to rp with the character regardless of what you've pointed out.

If you're going up against a Kryptonian and you have Kryptonite it doesn't really make sense to use something else unless you have to. Also, it's apparent this character was made with killing Supergirl in mind, possibly not actually achieving that but making the attempt when possible, so it would be making every attempt to use the most powerful forms of attack it can when dealing with her/you.

You can't think that you're playing a villain, or you'll end up with a cartoon. You have to think about him as a person and a hero.

Re: Revenge

He does seem way too over powered but he does seem designed to kill supergirl. He does need some balancing though.
