What is this RP really about? This is not about Supergirl. In fact I will post different phases of the event to show you what is going on. What people have seen so far is really only Phase 1, Scene 1 -3.
It is really about a mad mages trying to free himself from the Phantom Zone. He is not a typical Kryptonian though. The lead to freeing him will span to all kinds of RP. Some for the investigators, some for the gadget oriented and some for the metas. From low to high level in powers. There can be parts for both hero and villains, too.
Background: No one knows this except maybe
Kryptonian and only in legends.
There were 3 Castes on Krypton. Religion, Warrior, and Science, but before that, there was also Magic. Mages were a sect of Religion and were outcasts as well. No one really believed that magic really existed except for a small circle. That circle was led by a man named, Dar-Sur. Dar was a powerful sorcerer that wreaked havoc on Krypton thousands of years ago. But in his own quest for more power he trapped himself in a dimension. That dimension was not discovered until Jor-El and Zor-El created the Phantom zone projector.
It was thought by some that they invented the Phantom Zone, but when Zor-El traveled there, he found out that there were markings of a race that lived there already. Ancient Kryptonian markings. He was going to bring the information to his brother Jor-El, but there was no time. Already there was discussion about how the Red Sun, Rao, was going to go supernova and how most of the council did not believe Jor-El. So the fact he found the markings of Dar-Sur was never known. After that, the Phantom zone was used for criminals of Krypton.
Within the Phantom Zone there are projections or apparitions. These apparitions are known as Zoners. They are not what plagued the city though. Of course Kara believes they are, as well as any other Kryptonian that saw them. She believes that her blood, the blood of El, is the key to opening the Phantom Zone, and she is correct. However, there is more at work here than Zoners.
Supergirl is afraid that if the Zoners get to Superman that they will have, not only a conduit to escape the Phantom Zone, but also a way to control the Last Son of El. She was told, in a memory crystal, that if a Zoner can possess a male of the the House of El, that they will gain control of his body. As well as be able to open and close the portal to the Phantom Zone. It is this reason that Kara does not want to tell Kal-El what is really going on.
(( But Kara is only partially right. What is really going on is a spell. Max figured out they did not have souls. Others have found out that they have shapes of men and women. What they really are is still unknown by anyone in RP. I will not reveal that just yet, though.))

Phase 1: Build up the story. The idea was to get the news coverage, really. The few heroes that show up would be able to see what was starting to happen and to get hints.
Scene 1
Supergirl a Murderer.
Really, what was going on is Supergirl saw the image on one of their faces. it is a tattoo (I will get a pic up later) that is on their faces. No one, except one of the House of El could see it. This is why she believes it is a Zoner. The issue is, the Zoners never had a tattoo over their face. Remember that Kara is only sixteen and lost her memory crystal when she came to Earth. Batman found it and brought it to Superman, but they were only able to get fragmented data from it. So her memories are also broken.
When she was in the pod on her way to Earth, she was in a deep sleep, and the memory crystal would have taught her things. It was damaged in a meteor storm and so was her pod. But that is a story everyone knows. The part that people don't know is that she had dreams about Dar-Sur as well. He was trying to get to her, as the Last Daughter of El. Will that have repercussions later? We will see.
Anyway's, the next part was to have the "Zoners" try and possess Kara. They were unable to so instead they are going to kill people and make it look like it was her, to get her cousin, the Last son of El to come out. Keep in mind this is what Kara thinks still. There are parts that are not revealed yet.
So the first death was caused by a "Zoner" moving toward a man at super speed. Supergirl tried to stop it and ended up getting there just in time to have his heart ripped out and thrown in her hand. Hence why people think she killed him.
She then tried to catch the aberration. Of course, Kara is headstrong and impulsive, but not tactical. She once again tried to speed her way to catch them and they decapitated 3 people. Kara was left standing in the blood of them and with 3 heads at her feet. So you can see why the police are starting to worry.
Finally, the police show up and while Kara was trying to explain what happened, one of the Zoners went in front of her and fired heat vision at the crowd. It ended up killing the Chief of Police and a translator. So now Kara was up to 6 deaths.
((Adora is also a key in this, but even she does not know why. It has to do with the fact she used magic to heal Supergirl one time. IT somehow linked her to Kara, but what will come of that is unknown so far. All Kara knows is that she felt a strong pull toward Adora and she knew she was in danger. That leads to Scene 2.))

I know why you want to. School and all. I will see what I can do with that. It might be hard, but if you are doing more investigation things then combat, I can do that. Wait for me to put up more about the RP though, okay?

I do like an idea of a long rp. If there is a bunch of heroes involved, we need to try to keep track what they are doing and try react to that. Also we need to try to remember important details and try to throw logic in their as well. I think towards the end everyone got lost including myself.

So true and that is why I made this area. I am trying to keep track of everything that happened in the event, both IC and OOC. This way people can read up and not be totallylost, if they join a RP mid-way. They just need to be willing to read.

Aapply logic like I know Adora doesn't look like or could be a threat. She was on her way to Stryker's. Supergirl was free but yet she is accused of attacking and killing cops rescuing her. Nobody even bother asking why she is risking her neck to save Adora.

Everyone is free to post what they do in RP that might involve this event too. Whether I am online or not. Just make it in the IC area and explain it or ask questions here. I am still working out more details and will have Scenes 2 - 4 up sometime today. Phase 2 will start, probably this weekend.
I will post more about that, after I finish off with the scenes.
Remember these events are only as good as the work we put into them. If others don't participate, that it is a failed even. So go RP and tell us what happens.

I don't mind if this event isn't designed around forum RP, it's okay, I just won't be able to participate for now. No need to mess with the system to include one player.

Scene 2
The great escape or was it another attack on the MDP?
Adora was taken by the MPD to Strykers where the Zoners attacked Adora's security detail. The driver was killed in an instant blast of heat vision and the van crashed into a police car. Both of them plummeted into the water.
The idea was to get more heroes involved by way of police band and JLA comms.
Aleph Null, Mis Calc, Captain Sound, Zura, and Corpse Loto and of course Allison Taylor (MPD officer) all appeared. I was a little overwhelmed here and I think I need to keep the sessions with a little less people. People had to wait like 20 mins to post.
So the event was a little bit of a cluster to say the least. Still, a little more story was developed.
The Zoners caused havoc by doing what they did best and killing people in front of Kara to make it look like it was her, again. When Supergirl tried to explain what was going on, Allison cold cocked her and sent Kara into the ocean. The Zoners used the opportunity to spin around her in a vortex left in a portal that Corpse Loto made. This lead to the MPD and scene 3.
The rest of this scene was more clean up than anything. The Heroes' left once they thought they could not affect the Zoners. This was partly my fault cause I got confused with all the posts and missed some important details. For one, electricity made the Zoners slow down and in some cases stop. It made them appear as well. So do they have other weaknesses?
So far we know that OOC. Electricity and Heat vision effect them. If anyone tries to grab them though, they dissipate. We also found out that they were trying to make a portal. The portal was noticed by Alleph and that info was sent to JLA. I will also add that several more MPD were killed. This put Supergirl up to around 14 deaths, 11 of which were officers.
