Trudy was sitting on a bench near the confrontation. She watched as the man was hit by the woman, her eyes wide, a slight smile on her face. She stood up, straightened her plain, dark blue dress and was about to approach the scene, when a light shown and a man exited a... portal of some kind.

I'll take over for now, Trudy. You go rest. The voice of Nessa was heard as Trudy nodded. In an instant, Trudy's dark brown hair was turned to a vibrant red that flowed to the middle of her back. Her pale skin popped freckles and she walked to the scene.

"Oi. Ugly. Not nice to go punchin' random people like that. Why don't ye bugger off before ya get yourself hurt." She said to the woman, while keeping an eye on the newly arrived super powered guy.

Groggy and dim came his conciousness and the lighting about him. Hayden more than likely suffered a concussion at some degree. But his comprehension on how things just transpired would be difficult to judge at his current standpoint.(or more [sign in to see URL] he had levitated to)

With [sign in to see URL] "Nessa" and the booming light directing its attention toward the woman whom attacked Hayden. Opportunity provided Fry an amount of surprise.

Nessa's bellow took the other woman by startled surprise. Though the aiding horned helm wonder struck her with terror. Her hands shot up, and she did what any survival instinct would dictate in this randomly qweer circumstance. She ran. (Attempted to at least.) Leaping towards the rail, she hadn't bothered looking back to see if she had been in any pursuit.

Azure mist drifted from the triangle eyelets in the golden helmet Dr. Synodic wore to cover his entire head. This was the extent of the gaze Trudy and Michael would receive as he acknowledged their arrival and inclusion in the event unfolding. In Michael he sensed familiarity, as he did with Hayden. With Trudy, however, he sensed nothing immediate though with further analysis perhaps...

The invisible hands comfortably placed the prone body of Hayden Rice onto the cool, dismally gray concrete of the transit dock as Dr. Synodic watched Nessa's fight or flight instinct kick in.

"She is inconsequential," he said out loud, a hollow echo of a voice that sounded as if the cape and helmed man were speaking into a wide, empty chamber. "Merely a pawn who has unknowingly tipped over the first domino in this intricate pattern that we are all now a part of."

Michael could almost hear the intricate spindles turn and spin out the skeins of wyrd that was weaving him into this tapestry of destiny. The word came effortlessly off of his tongue as if always meant to be said that this very moment.

"Gillenbursti" he whispered as the reverberations of the word seemed to echo off of the azure mist coming off Syndioc's helm, the pale freckled skin of the mysterious red head, and the hidden lamp in Hayden's backpack. The platform was illuminated by the soft golden glow of Alfheim, as the boy disappeared in a hemisphere of light to be replaced by a man over seven foot tall with long flowing reddish gold hair and green eyes. "Halt woman! Or you shall be stopped.." he added with a tone of menace. "You smell of the sorceries of Angarboda..."

Nessa started to chase after the woman, but after two steps, stopped as the man bathed in light told her she was unimportant. "Why not? She seemed to want to kill that guy you saved, didn't she now? Seems to me that she deserves a good what fer." Nessa mimed a punch to the woman.

Nessa was about to continue to give chase when an extremely tall man blocked the targets path. "Holy shite. He with you?" She asked the man whom she didn't know yet as Azure.

Coherence allowed Hayden his faculties once more. Face sore with impact bruising, and his entire body acheing from the fall. Just as he was about to chime into the menagerie of unfamiliar voices and ...bedazzled individuals using them? The Tram came zipping in, at its Stop. Had he not been procured from that railtrack. Rice wouldve been smashed on its vacant arrival. Not a single rider arriving. Nor driver aboard. All of which was automated.

Hayden Rice had realized, that more than the lamp he now posessed was peculiar. A misty entity, wily woman [sign in to see URL] man had arrived at the station. His assailant no where to be found?

"[sign in to see URL]?" He asked trying to gather his pack. Unfortunate for him, its contents spilled as soon as he lifted from the station floor beside him. Revealing most significantly the trainyard lantern [sign in to see URL] glowing a blackish emerald hue from within its sourceless center! Hayden tried to hastefully recover it returning to its hiding. To no sucessful end.

If there were eyebrows beneath the gold helm, they arched in mild surprise as the young man's form was replaced by that of someone older and certainly more powerful. That would have explained the aura about the boy that the helmeted spellcaster sensed. He turned away from the body-swapped man to allow him to decide for himself whether or not to pursue the woman who had nearly contributed to Hayden's death. Instead, the man beneath the helmet replied to Trudy's question.

"None of you are 'with' me. Not yet," the glowing man in navy and gold replied. He replied to Trudy but did not face her fully, as he was clearly more interested in Hayden... or perhaps the pack that he had carried down into this dock.

"You may call me Doctor Synodic," the glowing man declared for all to hear. "Please, allow me." He reached out toward Hayden but offered no assistance in standing the man up. Instead, an unseen force lifted the pack and its contents into the air. The pack fell away onto the ground but the emerald and black trainyard lantern hovered and then turned for the Doctor's inspection without him laying a hand on it. "A fascinating object. One that the lords have failed to see. How did you come about it, Hayden Rice?"

The Vanir was about to go after the mysterious assailant when the train pulled into the station. "Spawn of Jormungandir !"He leaped into the air ready to attack the metal dragon and then hovered there for a moment as if listening to an unseen voice. ".. Oh, I see a method of conveyance..."Frey replied to the voice. He turned his attention back to the wizard , the lantern wielder and the mysterious red haired woman. He flew back to the platform, not quite touching the ground. "The Norns would seem to have wished us all to meet this evening. Well met Doctor Syndioc. I am Frey." He announced his name like all there would know of it.

Nessa looked from the lamp, to the guy in gold and blue, to Frey. She blinked twice and put her hands on her hips. "Well... aren't you boys a sight." She said with a smirk. Seeing Doctor Syndicate lift the lamp up. "That don't belong ta you, fancy pants. You put the lamp thing down." She said and went to help Rice up to his feet. Her strength was much stronger than her frame suggested.

Hearing Frey introduce himself, Nessays spoke up. "I'm Nessa. And it's your lucky day, boys. Cause I don't come out to play too often." She said as she helped Hayden up.
