History
A happy family broken by a cheating wife and a drunk husband. But sometimes the husband was the cheater and the wife was the drunk. And the poor Ark always punished by something, anything. Even when they lost the house. He was beaten and punished. So he ran away and never returned, to find a good family.

But guess what, real life. Ark became a homeless. Always hungering, always cold, but never returning to his parents. Even when his despair was so great that he decided to volunteer for human testing, just for the free food and a bed. And that, my friend, was the worst idea ever. Seriously. Ever.

He was cut open, sealed, cut open, poked, organs removed, then put back, then electrocuted, and once he was punched. Why? Stress testing. Every day he was injected with some drug and his whole day was being tested, abused, probed, pausing even for a small meal, enough for the body to remain healthy. But then, back to the table.

The truth was the scientists were trying to create a super vaccine to enhance the normal human's capacities. And they needed homeless people and those no one would miss for the real tests, where the law could not intervene the 'real science'. This? This was Ark's life for years. At first he tried to beg. Then to negotiate.

But then only the anger remained. Years of rage held back because his 'handlers' refused to sedate him. They wanted to study his reactions, both for science and for their fun. His world was the tiny room he was confined inside, the cameras his only companions. But then the tests finally gave results.

Over two months, his body was changing. Growing stronger, harder, but also... red. And if it wasn't enough of a failure, his organs were giving in. A powerful body but weak organs to sustain it. And due to his daily bursts of rage, he would die in days. So Ark was discarded as a failure and set to be discarded.

And everyone knows the best way to discard a test subject is to torture him to death for amusement! Weeee...

... But no. Ark should die there. Organs blowing up, being stabbed, anything, but he should be dead. But a ring came to his aid. His rage called to the stars. And that's the last thing he remembers before swimming out of a lake of blood, coughing. Ysmault.

Over the next months he was taught about...Well, everything. The Lanterns, the rage, the right of revenge... And even blood magic. Yes, he has some talent with it. Not much but enough for Atrocitus to take him out in 'killing sessions' to teach the basics. That was fun. No, really, fun. Raging is useful. It is fun.

Only when he had enough knowledge is that he decided to go back to Earth. Revenge is a sacred thing, and he was going to claim it.
