Arya blinks at the mention of Illegality. "Illegal? I mean... I'd say you were with the band.. not sure if thats lying or not since you would be. Might have you pretend to know how to set up too... Hmmm" she snickers at the pair acting silly before smiling to Nettles. "You look as if you feel... out of place. Just relax! Not too long ago I was a scared transfer student that had terrible english!"

While Arya's words didn't do too much to calm her uneasiness, the tone actually DID reassure her. She acted surprised at Nettles' question, which meant it was not something out of the ordinary.
"Oh, so it's one of those things that might TECHNICALLY be illegal, but isn't really," she replied thoughtfully. "I learned about those. Well... I learned about them after... kinda vine-cocooning five people for... jaywalking."
Another rather embarrassing conversation she remembered quite well. The memory of the citizens yelling angrily while Superman heroically suppressed the chuckles that were threatening to break through would probably stick with her forever.

At the mention of cocooning people CC's eyes went wide as she stood in her seat looking at Nettles. "You can cocoon people? That is like; so awesome!"
She instantly shrunk back in her seat and looked around the Ice-cream shop. "Okay, sorry about that. Maybe this isn't the best place to talk about stuff like that."
She grinned at her new friend and much more hushed tone "That is really cool though.I mean getting out there and trying to make a difference. I do it too. I have a costume and everything, but I seem to be better at getting beat up than stopping anything. I am training all the time hoping to get better though."

Tsukiko chuckled and smiled trying to imagine all that. Then as the subject seemed to turn to stories of how they deal with trouble and those who cause it. Tsukiko pretended to look over her phone, hoping this was one subject she wouldn't have to share. She didn't remember all that well, but Kiko was quite sure her new friends would understand what she did remember. Surely jer new friends wouldn't still be her new frends of they knew Kiko maybe, kinda, sorta had killed while trying to make a difference. Since she wasn't surenof her memories of it, there was no reason to rock the boat. Tsukiko just got quiet instead.

Arya shrugs at the mention of the cocooning. "I mean... thats not worse than my first time... I didn't know humans were so.... combustable." she didn't seem upset about it. It was a fact of life to her, nothing more.

Nettles fidgeted at CC's compliments. If she were able to, she'd be blushing.
"I mean, its just wrapping them up in plants. Nothing that fancy. I'm not sure how much of a difference I'm making, but I try. Mostly just muggers and stuff like that."
Nettles chose to ignore the last part of Arya's comment since she was sure she didn't want to know the details. Also because, under the right circumstances, she could be much more combustible than humans. She was intrigued by the other bit though.
"Oh, you're not human? Sorry, did you already mention that?"
She tried thinking back through the brief description of the three girls' powers, but couldn't remember. She hoped she didn't sound rude, but she was always excited to see a non-human fitting in well. It made her hopeful.

Smiling at Nettles then back to Arya "Yes we covered that all before you got here, our Arya here is a goddess. Isn't that cool?" She beamed at all of them.
As she looked at them her eyes widened as a slightly insane overjoyed grin spread across her face. "O M G! I think this is all destiny, like; I think we were all brought together for a reason. Maybe we need to like; team up and stuff. Anyone else getting that vibe?"

Tsukiko perked back up out finding the tabletop interesting. Thank goodness, she was ready to share that darker side of her work yet. She did share CC's enthusiasm for the idea they were all fated to team up. Tsukiko smiled and nodded, "Hai! I'v e thought much the same during the rest of school today. Now even more that we have met Nettles too! Before we left school I was thinking we were like the Purple Lotus. Rare even among sacred lotus, it is prized for rising above the muddy waters it grows in and emerging to stand above grime with unblemished beauty. It is also said to symbolize royalty, faithfulness, kindess, good fortune and peace. All good goals."

Arya blinks slowly and then lets a small laugh escape. "Destiny? Fate? I think not. Luck? Perhaps." she shrugs. "Whatever you call it, its nice, but I highly doubt it was predetermined."
Arya let her eyes slide over those around her. She was pretty sure of herself in this regard, and her bright blue eyes would lock on anyone who would dare to challenge her.
