Re: A Home in Ruins, A Girl's Blight (Open Story for Anyone)

Kara was powerless to the pheromones that Penny released, and even without her trying, it did make her sway a little. She was blushing as Penny squeezed her tightly, again. "Um... it's okay, really. I am sure that we can clean this up."

She looked at Nina, as she had already started the cleanup. "So maybe we can find out who might have done this?" She bit her lip, as she felt the magic start to overcome her. "I mean, do you have enemies? Anyone that might want to hurt you? Perhaps someone had a key and had a really rough party? Anything?"

She could feel her own arousal was starting to make her feel hot. She pushed Penny away again, gently. "Talk to me. I will help you, I promise." She could breathe normal again, if she just kept a little distance. So she picked up a broom and started sweeping up the debris that Nina made. It kept her away from the pheromones, at least.

Okay, Nina thought, there was upset and then there was being overly dramatic. But, she was a demon, why would she expect anything less? Still, everything she owned was in ruins so she couldn't really blame her.

"No offense Penny, but lets face it, you 'are' a demon, and there are people out there who won't understand or care that you're not one of the bad ones"

Oh she could be though. She knew enough about the future, no matter what else might have changed, she doubted everything had been changed.

"I think this was a random act of violence. We should just focus on getting this cleaned up and...I don't know, maybe getting you some better security. I would have thought with your newest....roommate, this wouldn't have been so easy to do"

Penny blinked at Nina. “I can't help what I am!” She shook her head and let the tears fly from her eyes. “No. No. No. No. This is just wrong! I didn't do anything to deserve this!” She cries. Penny falls back to her knees as she watches Powergirl start to clean up the apartment. “You understand? Right Bombshell?” She asks her. Slowly her pheromones begin to permeate the entire apartment. Penny did not even realize that it was happening. Though she was attracted to the strong Kryptonian and could not always help herself when she was around her. Being in an overly emotional state only made things flow more easily from her.

“More security?” She asked as her sobbing began to finally slow down. “Maybe Nina is right?” She pondered a moment wiping the tears from her eyes again. “Maybe it was random vandalism? I don't know. Maybe it was Amy? Or Rayne?” She started to cry again as she spoke those names. “They are mad with me, I think. They have gone off and become gods and angels and they have no choice but to destroy me!”

Kara continued to sweep as the two spoke. But when she heard Nina, she decided to speak up herself. "Just because she is a demon does not give anyone the right to tear up her home. I am an alien and I still have a right to live in peace. It is exactly the same thing and the ones responsible should be arrested."

She then added, "And what do you mean that she has a new roomie? I good friend of mine that does the detective gig in the dark and likes bats, told me one time. If you are doing the same thing you do everyday and you always get the same results, that is life. But when other results happen, then look at what you are doing different." She put down the broom and walked up to Penny.

"Penny? Tell me, please. Who is living with you now? Maybe they know what happened. Maybe this is not even about you, but them?"

"Whoa, hold up there. I didn't say it was right. I'm saying that it could be a reason"

Going to the phone, she called the local delivery parlor and ordered Penny a couple of pizza's. If nothing else, that would comfort her, she'd been living there long enough to know that.

"Look, me, the twins and ....someone else has moved in and I don't think its about any of us. I hate to say this, I really do because she and I have become close, but I think a certain fire goddess is responsible.

She was really, really upset when you didn't take her offer Penny, hell Robert was here the other day talking about it, we had a huge fight about it. But I never thought she'd do something like this"

Amy was excited. For her, she hadn't seen Penny in years. She wanted to see her, and she had a surprise for her. She opened a portal to Penny's room and with her walked two 8 year olds in beautiful dresses, one black and one white.

Not seeing her, Amy walks downstairs. "Penny? Nina? Hellooooo! Are you ho-" she stops short at seeing the destruction. "What happened? Are you ok?"

Penny cannot bring herself to look at Amy. She does't even notice the twins. She keeps her back to Amy as she speaks barely above a whisper.

"Why Amy? Why would you and Robert destroy my home? Do you hate me that much? I cannot he... help what I am." Her eyes fill again with salty tears. She wipes them away with both hands trying to curb her sadness and replace it with anger but is unsuccessful.

"My apologies for existing my godship." She says trying to be sarcastic but falling short. "I would prefer if you just killed me next time."

She looks at Powergirl and sighs. "Master lives here. Master Ezerkel. He gave me the twins." She explains. None of her words are louder then a sad whisper.

Kara nodded, "So this... master? He is doing this to you? He is a god?" She shook her head. "This magic stuff confuses me, sorry. All I need to know is one thing." She took Penny by her shoulders.

"Are you safe here? Do you need me to do anything?" She looked at Nina and then saw Amy come downstairs too.

"Amy? What is going on here? This is starting to look like a flop house. How many people live here and why was the place wrecked? I want answers... please." She folded her arms under her breasts and stared at Amy.

"If you know something... spill."

At the sight of Amy, Nina felt her stomach clench. She fought hard to maintain a passive look on her face. She would deal with Amy in her own time in her own way, and the goddess would pay. It hurt, more than she could say, to look at the twin faces that she'd brought with her.

"I can't believe you would bring children here of all places. Do you know how many times I've walked in to this loft to the sight of something....unseemly.

Considering you yourself were part of those ...."

She stopped herself from saying anything too obscene as there were children present. No matter how awful their mother was, she could never harm a child.

"They shouldn't be here Amy. You should have known better. And, it isn't safe here obviously. Unless, you brought them here to show your daughters your handiwork"

Amy looks around at the damage. "What happened?" She looks to Penny, confused. "I've been gone Penny...." She gestures to the twins. "I was raising them with father." her confused gaze then fell on Nina. "My handiwork? I've never done anything to Penny's home." she quickly opens a portal and shoos the kids through before it closes.

Looking to Penny, she mumbles. "I've never hated you for what you are.... I assume that means you said no to my offer?" she hadn't seen Penny since she offered her a spot as an angel. She didn't know about the orgies, the master, hell she didn't even know if the twins were still there. "I... think I'm missing something? I just wanted you to meet Anya and Arya..."
