Re: Hunting in Metropolis: The Wolfpack (Open RP)

The leader yelped as his clawed hand was knocked backwards and vibrating as the other four would also be pushed off of him, yelping as well, before they could react one would be hit in the face and crumple as the other would get hit in the chest and go flying across the room, slamming into another alien, an insect like being who’s mandibles would clatter and it’d wrap the wolf man up in a kind of webbing and drag him off.

Just as the leader of the pack recovered he would see the man “appear” and throw another vicious attack. But this time he’d be ready… As the man’s glowing fist came towards him he’d twist his head and try to clamp down on the man’s fist, his bite having the power of a car crunching machine. His goal, to bite his fist off.

The bartender meanwhile would look to the approaching figure warily, as two hands went beneath the bar as the other two worked on drinks. “What can I do for you? We don’t want anymore trouble…” she said quietly.

Sayia would listen to what the woman said and smirk slightly. She was right, they were there for her. It was painfully obvious. She would glance back to them then look back to the woman.

“The drink.” She said plainly.

“The drink I was drinking is rare, something I didn’t consider when coming here. Most likely they recognized the drink. “ she said as if it meant anything to the woman. She didn’t like giving long explanations to strangers, but this was something that she could spare.

“The dogs are called Ta-ra-negians. They are all bounty hunters, assassins, mercenaries, body guards and the like. Funny they are on this planet though considering they operate generally in a sector of space 5 billion light years from here...” She said, almost to herself. “As for why they are interested in me? I guess it could be my sparkling personality, who really knows?" she said with a smile.

If the woman could run any kind of check or had access to information on extraterrestrial species she'd be able to see that the woman before her was an Altan of some kind, and a bounty hunter of some reknown. She'd also see a group of Ta-ra-negians had placed a "Shadow bounty" on her head, one meant for the illegal, darker dregs of the intergalatic society.

“Now my turn, who are you and your friends? I can’t think you just decided to help me out of the kindness of your hearts. As I understood it on this world that kind of thing never happens.” She said.

Re: Hunting in Metropolis: The Wolfpack (Open RP)

The sapphire fist would deny the bite painfully. That was just it's nature. And to avoid those sharp teeth, the stuff would spread further up his arm.

And it was exactly what the handsome man had planned for. Allowing his second fist to slam in behind the first. This fist too flashing blue before being encompassed by the seemingly magical crystal.

Back at the bar, the mysterious third person would whisper to the bartender. His voice was hard to explain. Though also smooth and deep, it was the voice of a more serious fellow. While the blue eyed man sounded like the perfect gentleman. He was clearly just that... Gentle. While this one possessed a quality that was more suave. And now those green eyes would glow for a moment. And yet, he raised a hand to pacify the woman. He held intergalactic credits. His amazing smile returning in the most disarming fashion.

"No trouble. I wanted to know what it would cost to pay for any damages my friend over there is causing. Honest. We want to keep our ties strong with this fine establishment. Please. How much do I owe you? Oh and..." He would lean closer and whisper. "If you could just tell any questioners that I was rude and gave you a hard time, I'll pay extra." And he winked, his face suddenly showing in the light. Another handsome man. Perfection. His eyes like peridot. His accent was less Russian and more that extra something else.

He held beneath the hand he had resting atop the counter some mighty high credits. And he was slowly moving that hand across to her.

Near the entrance the pretty woman smiled again. Her eyes shimmering that same pinkish red. "Taranedogs. Yep. We call them dogs..." She chuckled. "They don't like us very much. And we feel the same about them usually." She put a hand on her hip as if casually communicating to a well known friend. "I won't lie in that I don't know much about you or your species. However my friends and I are also from far in the universe. In fact i'm pretty sure just as far as your own world, but in the opposite direction." Her eyes would harden in Sayia's direction, it wasn't something physical. But a sort of intention passed quietly in that serious look. And then the woman, the girl? Continued. These three people were hard to tell... By all appearances they were just 20.

"You look smarter than your letting on. With the way you found this place and how you sauntered in here like you've been here before. I promise you that we didn't come here to target anyone, not tonight. But you made quite the entrance. And Jak really must like something about you because he only starts trouble for the ladies, I swear. I mean... You sure you aren't aware of any dirty cash in this?" She would motion toward the fighting pack and suddenly swipe a hand to one side to deflect a piece of debris. Her hand glowed that same pinkish red for a moment. But it was too fast to see what happened besides the debris flying away.

Then she waited patiently for an answer.

The bartender frowned, crossing all four of her arms as the man spoke to her. He agreed to pay for the damages, that's good, she'd not have to call her boss then. She would sigh, then look over to him again and speak.

“Well looking around, the assessment is only 1600 credits. That should cover everything. Tell your..protective friend to take it outside next time though, otherwise you're welcome here whenever.” She said to him with a smile.

Meanwhile the leader of the wolf pack yelped as his teeth broke on the substance before he was put down, unconscious. If allowed his friends would pick him up and try to drag him off away, growling as they did. “This isn't over! We're not going to forget this!” one shouted.

Sayia looked to the group of wolves and frowned deeply. The woman was right, it was all too.. coincidental that this group just HAPPENED to be here when she was here. Someone set her up, but only the Federation bounty hunting offices and the earth liaison knew she was coming... As protocol, announcing your arrival on a class 1 planet...

“You may be right you know... Dirty credits, only two people knew I was coming here and one is on the other side of the universe.” she said with a frown then looked back to her friends. “It looks like you all serve a purpose, so i'm thinking some kind of private military unit or privateers? It would explain a lot.” She noticed the glow, noting it was the same as the man.

“Seems I may have been set up. And seeing as I don't know much about this planet, I'm willing to pay for the services of a guide and some people who know the local lay of the land..” She said. “I'm Sayia, Sayia Aran.” she held her hand out and gave a smile.

Keik looked to the man who had just decimated the wolf pack. The look on her face one of pure joy, a fight! A fight against a powerful foe! It was almost too much to ask for! She would step towards him, only to stop as she noticed the other at the bar willing to pay for the damages, and then the other one talking to the woman.

“Tela. Give me a facial recognition if you can on the last three people I just looked at. Check them for bounties and any other violations in any empire or known federation which trades in credits.” she said softly then would go to lean back on the bar.

“Think I found our ticket off this rock, but for now I'm going to observe as i'm outnumbered...”

(She is asking for any information on the three who just helped Sayia out if its available in Lantern networks or other known alien information networks.)

The green eyed man smirked. He pulled his hand away from the credits and the counter. Revealing 6000 units at least. "Thank you and again sorry for any trouble. I'll work hard to tame my friend... They don't call him a beast for nothing though." He said playfully as he pulled away from the counter and lowered his hood again. Then he was making his way back to the restrooms. As if he had no care about the fight or the mess. There he pulled a small flask from his pocket and took a nice swig of whatever it contained.

The broken wolf man left the blue eyed body builder frowning. He quickly relaxed though and took a deep breath. He had expected a better fight, or perhaps he had only hoped for it. With a slight shrug he secured his cloak and pulled his hood back up over his head. "Yeah whatever, and good riddance you sceloran-rizzleback! No one likes you! Go hump your own women, sheesh."

And he was picking up chairs and table tops that had only fallen over and had not been destroyed. Once done he turned briskly and headed over to Sayia and the magenta eyed girl.

"Sayia is a nice name. It's nice to meet you." She was saying. "I'm Cora. And..." The handsome man didn't keep his face hidden as much as before now that he arrived at the two. His smile was there again, heart-melting and almost magnetic. "This is Jak." She finished.

"Hello there. Sorry about that. I know an attack when I see one and I was afraid tonight was going to be boring." He chuckled. "What did you say your name was?" He asked. Cora was rolling her eyes though. "Sayia. Her name is Sayia Aran. Now be quiet." She scolded playfully. But he didn't, he brushed Cora's waving hand aside and continued without faltering once. "Oh, Aran. Nice. Now you should be more careful with the company you keep." He said sincerely.

Cora poked his side and then his neck and the big guy was hoping to one side trying not to laugh. "Don't cut me off..." She started and then pushed her hair over her shoulder. "Sayia is going to hang with us. We can show her around, help her out with the place. Sides... If there is a mark on her she'll be getting mobbed left and right."

Jak regained his composure and stood relaxedly. He stretched a little and his chest and arms rippled with muscle involuntarily. "Well, I for one am down with that. If it means staying busy. But um... We can't go off schedule too much." He added.

Cora nodded and then turned fully back to Sayia now. "Right. Mercenaries and other nasties are one thing. But well..." She seemed a little reluctant to say something more at that particular moment. Jak helped ease the awkwardness by motioning to the table that he and Cora had once shared. "Would you like to join us for a little while?"

Anyone trying to pull up profiles on the three strangers would find a symbol of sorts designating the world government they belonged to. Indeed a world far away. And their faces would show up, much the same as now but without hoods. Their race was called "Opalian". Their post titles read: "Royal Armsmen".

Their names and other delicacies were kept out of the records due to Planetary Safety.

Sayia would shake Cora’s hand and nod to the other two who introduced themselves. As introductions were now made, and an agreement reached she’d look to the exit now. Time for work to begin, she just hoped her new partners were on the up and up.

“ Cora and Jak, pleasure to meet you both. And yes I’ll join you for a while. I need to get a better lay of the land as holo-maps only tell you so much you know.” She said to them and would tap her wrist. A holographic display would show up above it with a human with a pimply face and glasses, the name Artemus Zed flashing under it.

“This is the only other person who knows I was here. He arranged for my visit here to this place even.” She said. “I have a feeling he’s been taking a few extra credits under the table, I had that feeling for a while now, but it seems all but confirmed with the dogs chasing me. So if we can swing by his place on the way, I can figure out who’s trying to capture or take me out.” She said.

“And by the way, how do you all get around here? And should I be worried about these “heroes” who operate on this planet?”

“Jakarus Gryor - Cora Za'Zepron - Harnet Addapas - Royal Armsmen. Race: Opalian.
Planet: Irvapaal. That means be careful Keik. They are well trained and royalty, so most likely you harming one of them could be a intergalactic incident of sorts.” She said in the woman’s ear.

“Right. Royals. I’ll keep that in mind.” She said. “They are leaving with the other one, I’m going to follow them ,see what else turns up.” She said calmly then would pay for her drink and down it quickly, keeping an eye on them from the corner of her eyes.

Cora would beam. Her legs, held up by stylish heels, would begin their walk back to the table. Jak had a big grin too but he didn't stare at Sayia as Cora stepped off. He followed his fellow companion easily and offered a hand to Sayia's shoulder as if to guide her and protect her. It was an innocent gesture at least.

Back at the table Cora would motion to a third seat. "I know what you mean about holo-maps. I can update your map for you. At least of Metropolis. I think Jak can help you out with Gotham if you end up having to operate there. But as for this... Zed character." She would point to the image of the pimpled guy.

"I've never seen or heard of him." She finished.

Jak who was sitting down in his former seat smiled and then shrugged. "Yeah, sorry miss. He's a stranger to me too. But um... Do you know the name of his location? The country, city, corporation? If he is on Earth, we can help you find him."

Back at the other corner of the room, near the restrooms came striding the green eyed man. He was walking with purpose. He was walking with a secure spring in his step. When he came near to Keik though he would abruptly turn and take the seat beside her. "Hi there." His voice was like man-silk. Warm, sure, and yet, grabbing.

To Sayia, Cora and Jak continued, taking turns filling her in on what they knew. "Vehicles are good travel, though there are some places were teleporter's exist. And if you don't break the laws of the land, the heroes will be your friends. Otherwise you get marked as the enemy... So don't worry about them unless you have some not so pleasant plans. And even then... You might be okay." The two would exchange a look then and frown at the same time. "You aren't here for assassin work are you?"

Sayia would follow them back to their table and sit down as they asked then lean forward. “An update would be nice, I’ve not had time to accurately scan this planet yet, for obvious reasons, and I believe Zed operates out of “Metropolis” if I’m not mistaken. The city the Kryptonian claims as his.” She said and leaned back now with a sigh and a massaging of her head.

“As for why I’m here, I’m looking for someone, he or she, depending on their mood, does bad things to non-developed worlds, not assassination, but arrest basically. My issue is…” she looked around, eyes narrowed as she whispered. “If it knows I’m here, then it’s infiltrated either my contact here, or my contacts back home, which would not be good.” She said. “But I’m betting Zed squealed and let it slip I’d be arriving… These vehicles, still combustion engines on this planet mainly I take it? The air quality would definitely point to that being the answer…”

The Bartender looked to Sayia and her group, her eyes narrowing a bit. She then looked to Keik and now to her new companion who had just sat down next to her, and would go back to washing glasses as the band slowly began to play once more.

Keik glanced over to the striking man who had just spoken to her and gave him a nod. He was with those other two, and most likely noticed her watching the crew. She downed her glass of rum and turned to look at him fully. He’d see she was around 6’5, 210lbs of solid muscle, her hair was cut in a flat top and she had some kind of tribal markings, red, across her dark tanned face. She smiled at him and raised a glass then took another drink.

“Hello yourself there mister.” She said to him. Her voice was harsh, kind of scratchy and authoritative in tone and nature, even when she was trying to be polite. It was the voice of someone who’d spent years yelling orders and fighting most likely. “Quite an interesting place, seems can’t go a day with a fight huh?” she said.

“Keik, be careful, he sounds slick, watch yourself.” Tela said in the small earpiece she wore. Keik just smiled at him though.
