Thunder's Trials
Premise: Captain Thunder, a powerful magic being created by Native American deities, has lost his faith and with it his powers. The shaman that once powered him has abandoned his force of good at the worst possible time, leaving a mortal Dexter Drake in the armor he once wore to protect the world of man.
Along with his lack of powers, an old friend has followed him to this Earth, claiming to be Black Thunder. Her goals are currently unknown, but she obviously has a lust for the Captain Thunder's power.
Now, Dex must race against Black Thunder with help of some allies to prove himself in the name of each god. Currently, he only wields two powers of THUNDER. Luckily, the tormenting deities have chosen to make things interesting. Upon victory, the ally will receive one magically achievable gift.
Setup: Seven trials by seven deities with seven different partners. Each trial will be unique to that specific god. As he is granted their blessing, he receives those powers back.
Participants: This is open to whoever is interested. Does not have to be a magical hero. Hopefully we can have a diverse cast of characters. Send me a tell in-game or post here if you're interested.
Tornado/Power - Power Girl
Hare/Speed - Swift Run
Uncas/Bravery - Chela Neva
Nature/Wisdom - Completed
Diamond/Toughness - Supergirl
Eagle/Flight - Completed
Ram/Tenacity - Schwarz Jaeger

Re: Trouble in the Skies: Thunder's Trials
When Adora gets better she would help out.
Chela too, she is Native American herself and doesn't believe in gods. I think this would be interesting for her. For her I would choose Nature/Wisdom, or Unca/Bravery.

Swift Run would be in for Speed if he gets paid by anyone. :P

Re: Trouble in the Skies: Thunder's Trials
It would be awesome to have Chela play a part in Bravery, she should know a thing or two about Uncas. I'm not sure about Adora's strengths but if you could find something, sure.
As for Swift Run, I assume he's the comical type so he can make a great addition to Speed. If he wants to get paid, I don't think he has a choice. :P

Re: Trouble in the Skies: Thunder's Trials
Adora have been training to learn elemental spells, I would monologue it but sometimes it is just boring.
It was something I was just fond of, elementals of earth, I guess it goes back to the days when I played Iron Sword on * bit nes. You had to fight the elementals. Also if you ever heard of a game called Quest for Glory 11 Trial by Fire, you also fight the elementals in it.
So I made it where Adora start learning Elemental Spells, how to cast them and how to counter them. So in rp you might not see her use them because she tries to be responsible with her magic. She knows 1 wrong move could be disastrous.

Re: Trouble in the Skies: Thunder's Trials
Heh like John Constantine who tries to avoid using magic at all costs. Okay maybe he is a bit more paranoid about using magic than Adora. :P

Re: Trouble in the Skies: Thunder's Trials
Supergirl - Toughness
Not to mention their personal story could add some serious element of fun to the over all story.
Power Girl - Power
As leader of JT, she would be perfect for showing the balance that is needed for power and kindness.

Re: Trouble in the Skies: Thunder's Trials
Got it. I have a really great idea for what Supergirl and Dex can do now. Still plotting what Power Girl can shine with.
