Re: The RP Crisis

THE RP CRISIS
SEQUENCE ONE: EXPLORING THE MULTIVERSE

Premise: The Multiverse. What was once one was broken into many. A single universe splintered into infinite diversions and alterations. Some close to exact, others contrast in every respect. And at the center of each universe: Earth, each a key and doorway to the Multiverse.

Alternate Earths with alternate timelines and alternate destinies. For milenia the inhabitants of these Earths never knew of their counterparts. But this has changed. Over the recent decades various universes have contacted one another, sometimes with friendly intent other times malicious. Once more the walls separating these universes have begun to split and crack. Once more time and space have deterioration. Once more all existence is threatened with obliteration. Once the Multiverse has summoned champions from various realities and times to oppose the monumental threat at hand. Once more there will be a CRISIS.

Objective: To hold RPs in the various settings throughout the Multiverse's alternate universes to begin exploring our various alternate counterpart characters and their perspective worlds.

Desired numbers of participation: any size however as many as possible is encouraged.

Morality type: Both.

Type of Characters who can participate: Any characters from any universe or timeline from. At any time a character can jump in and out of the story at their convenience without being story locked. However since the first sequence of the RP is about introducing these new Alternate Universe Settings I would encourage participates to consider creating their characters counterparts for the rp setting. Whether you be new member or regular, human or ultra powerful, cannon or noncannon characters I intend for this to be an experience that all can play a role.

Interaction between various universes will occur in a later sequence. But once again if a person wants to use a specific character from a foreign such as our main characters it WILL be permitted and fitted in.

RP Set up: I will hold a rp event for the universes the RP Crisis encompasses, however inbetween scheduled continuations I hope to have side rps as well taking place in these worlds. NOTE: at any time anyone can have one of these rps with OR WITHOUT me. I don't own the DC Universe and neither do I own your characters. You guys can have social rps in these universes or skirmishes or your own rp events as well. I hope to make each universe feel as rich and complex as the traditional DCUO setting we rp in.

Multiverse location list: As to which alternate universes expected to show up in the RP Crisis Event I have not made a final complete decision on the number of alternate universes nor which specifically we shall rp in.

This is because of 2 reasons.

1. I don't want to pick worlds people have no interest in visiting and force those who are waiting for a world in particular to trudge through a story to get to the next.

2. Because I don't want the rps in the worlds to feel rushed and forced so that we can get through a certain number of earths as fast as we can.

From what I gathered from people I plan on our rps visiting (at least for sequence one) Earth 3, Earth 43, and Earth 32. However I intend to imbed the rp experience with characters, locations, and lore from all over the Multiverse, time stream, else worlds, and DC Comic history.

You can find a description of what to expect at each universe along with possible suggestions for universes created by RPers can be found in this link to ]a List of possible DCUO Alternate Universes here. Don't worry we won't rp in all of these universes UNLESS you guys really want to. A lot of the universes I have listed are ideas and possibilities to get you guys thinking.

If people wish to have rps in any of the other worlds mentioned. PLEASE LET ME KNOW. You can even have your own rps on your own universes. If people express interest in visiting other universes then please let me know.

Re: The RP Crisis

EXPLORING THE MULTIVERSE PART ONE: DARK REFLECTIONS

Location: Earth 3. The Earth 3 event taking place will incorporating inspiration from various versions of Earth 3 including the tradional Pre-Crisis Earth3, the Antimatter version, and the New 52 version. This Earth 3 we will be taking place in is a mix of all these versions that I hope will best reflect the DCUO universe.

Quick Synopsis of Earth: In this world our character's moralities are reversed. Good is evil and vice versa. Corruption is widespread and crime is rampant. The major conflict is between the Crime Syndicate lead by Ultraman Superwoman and Owlman and the Justice Underground lead by Alexander Luthor Pandora and the Jokester.

Recent events: The scales between evil and good were shaken drastically when an a ragged and battered Owlman from Earth 3’s near future traveled back in time to warn the Justice Underground of the eventual return of Ultraman’s former slave Brainiac, an organic creature from another world. To prevent Earth 3 from being completely conquered by the super intelligent creature, Future Owlman unleashed millions of stolen Brainiac exobytes across the planet creating a new army of villains and heroes. (Ya I know déjà vu)

With the rise of villains and heroes the Crime Syndicate’s hold on the planet has been significantly slackened and the Justice Underground’s movements have become more bold.

To take place: Saturday April 12th at 9:30 pm EST

Please let me know if your interested and if possible post whether you will be rping a villain character or a hero character for the Saturday so I will be best prepared. Thanks emoticon.

The RP Crisis Sequence One: Exploring the Multiverse

Exploring the Multiverse Part 1: Dark Reflections

Earth 3
Rp #1 Recap:

In Gotham City a shot echoes through the darkness as a journalist who publically criticized the Crime Syndicate is assassinated by the Silver Bullet (Earth 3 counterpart of the Gray Silhouette). At the same time the wind manipulator called Vortex (Earth 3 counterpart of Jet Cloud) uses his powers to tear up a nearby city block and spread chaos.

In response, the heroic vampire Vamera and White Pistol (Earth 3 counterpart of Psycic Bullets) who was tasked by the Quiz Master to bring the Silver Bullet down, arrives to stop the two villains. The two heroes face off against the two villains. A brawl ensues pitting Vortex against Vamera in a battle of tornadoes and overwhelming wind against illusions and mental attacks. Caught in a similar conflict the White Pistol and the Silver Bullet test one another’s skills and agility in a close gun fight.

Caught at a disadvantage, Vamera makes the tactical decision to leave the fight to regain her strength leaving Vortex to vent his rage. Meanwhile as their gun fight resorts to hand to hand combat White Pistol and Silver Bullet sustain multiple injuries in their farce. Although it seems the Silver Bullet gains the upperhand in the fight, and mocks White Pistol, claiming evil will always win.

White Pistol reveals he is strapped with explosives and threatens to detonate the bombs and kill them both to prevent evil from winning. Unable to risk the bomb threat, the Silver Bullet is forced to abandon the fight and end the encounter as a bitter stalemate.

Earth 3
Rp #2 Recap:

Hired by Owlman to infiltrate Gotham STAR Labs to steal a prototype scanning program, the Silver Bullet calls in the assistance of Archurasis (Earth 3 Counterpart of Archurias)to help him bypass the research facility's security. Predicting such a move from Owlman, the Quizmaster sends White Pistol to STAR LABS to fend off any villain attacks.

Disabling the outside security sensors and evading STAR Labs patrol, the Silver Bullet and Archurasis nearly infiltrate the building when White Pistol attacks the two in a surprise attack, injuring the Silver Bullet.

Initially simultaneously returning fire on White Pistol, the two villains split up to complete their mission. While Silver Bullet keeps White Pistol busy, Archurasis infiltrates STAR Labs and takes down several security officers before locating the tracking device. Believing it to be the same device that led to her capture in the past, the archer double crosses Silver Bullet and rewires the device before returning to the fray outside.

In their gunfight, the Silver Bullet reveals that Owlman is attempting to construct a planet wide scanning system that will be able to triangulate the locations of every member of the Justice Underground and their hidden [sign in to see URL] Archurasis with one of the needed components for the global tracking system, White Pistol shoots the device out of the archer's hands.

Blinding White Pistol with a flash bang, the Silver Bullet retrieves and pockets the device hoping the damages can be repaired. With their mission accomplished, Silver Bullet and Archurasis escape STAR Labs before White Pistol and the rest of the research base's security can apprehend the two criminals.

Earth 3
Rp #3 Recap:

Unable to repair the damaged tracking device, the Silver Bullet arranges a meeting Farukon (Earth 3 Counterpart of Moltenia), daughter of the head and technology expert of Wondrous Technology. In their meeting, Silver Bullet sets up arrangements to have Wondrous Tech. discretely repair the tracking device. In exchange, the Silver Bullet promises to perform corporate sabotage on Wondrous Tech's major competitor: Luthor Corp.

Realizing the need for additional assistance before taking on Alexander Luthor, the Silver Bullet enlists the services of Chela Nava (Earth 3 counterpart of the Truthsayer), an influential and corrupt head journalist with a bitter vendetta against all heroes.

Meeting up following Silver Bullet's arrangement with Farukon, Chela and Silver Bullet choose to strike at a Gotham branch of Luthercorp's Reclamation Projects rumored to be the possible sight of one of Luthor's hidden Justice Underground bases. Upon arriving the Silver Bullet and Chela Nava's body guards attacked the inhabitants of the projects including a small playground in an attempt to lure out Alexander Luthor.

In response Silver Bullet and the bodyguards are attacked by hidden defensive Luthor Corp. Turrets and Luthor's operatives while Chela Nava records the carnage to manipulate against Luthor. After eliminating the Luthor agents and locating the entrance to Luthor's underground base, Silver Bullet, Chela Nava and her body guards infiltrate the underground facility and uncover one of Luthor's underground prototype storage facilities.

While searching the base, they confront Earth 3's greatest hero: Alexander Luthor. With his highly advanced combat suit and his super genius intellect, Luthor swiftly bests the invaders. After incapacitating Chela's body guards, knocking Silver Bullet unconscious, and trapping Chela in a containment force field; the villains learn that they are about to be delivered into the custody of Commissioner Thomas Wayne Sr.

Earth 3
Rp #4 Recap:

Brought into the custody of Commissioner Wayne Sr. by Luthor, Chela, Silver Bullet, and the body guards are cuffed disarmed and are separated. Sending them to different interrogation rooms, Commissioner Wayne attempts to make a deal with the two criminals in exchange for Intel on Owlman's operations. While the Commissioner interrogates Silver Bullet, Chela is able to contact one of her special bodyguards the giant with super strength: Solo (Earth 3 counterpart of Solo Monday)

After killing several GCPD officers and smashing his way into the station, Solo draws away the majority of the police from Silver Bullet and Chela allowing Silver Bullet to escape after killing the officer left in charge of guarding him. While Solo takes on the majority of the police force, the Silver Bullet engages in a gun fight with the Police Officer left to guard Chela.

Forcing the police to fall back for stronger firepower, Solo breaks Chela and Gray out of the interrogation room and makes an escape tunnel to leading to the sewer system below. After freeing Chela's bodyguards, the Silver Bullet is chased into the tunnel by Commissioner Wayne and his reequipped men. Solo cuts off the police force by causing a cave in allowing the villains to escape to Chela's Sewers base.

Deciding their next course of action, Chela plans to edit her recorded footage to frame Luthor and undermine the Justice Underground while the Silver Bullet plans to wait for further instructions from Owlman before making his next move against the Underground.

Earth 3
Rp #5 Recap:

Sending out a Justice Underground Alert to any heroes near Amusement Mile, the Jokester calls for any hero reinforcements to fend off a large police assault force(comprised of corrupt GCPD officers under the Owlman's payroll)trying to kill the Jokester's gang and end their anarchist movements against the Crime Syndicate once and for all.

Answering the alert, John Stone (Earth 3 Counterpart of Impailing Ice): the resilient meta human with super strength, and the Charlatan (Earth 3 counterpart of the Cursed Stranger): the mysterious illusionist arrive at the Amusement Park to aid the Jokester and his clowns in their battle against the heavily armed dirty cops.

While John Stone and the Charlatan combat the GCPD, the clowns are attacked by the villainous extraterrestrial archer: Crimson Bowman. In a battle between the two Justice Underground heroes and the Crimson Bowman, both sides sustain injuries. Evaluating the battle to not be worth the risks, the Crimson Bowman leaves Amusement Mile after killing and injuring several clowns.

Just as the fight shifts in favor of the Jokester's clowns, Owlman deploys a dozen of his deadly Owl Sentinels to Amusement Mile. Unable to match the wing armors' attack force, a large number of clowns are killed while John Stone, the Charlatan, and the Jokester struggle to hold off the Owlman's robotic forces.

Although they are able to damage several of the Owl Sentinels, the Jokester and the Justice Underground heroes are unable to prevent the clown gang from falling into chaotic panic. Sustaining heavy loses and major damage to the Amusement Park, the Jokester is forced to order his remaining clowns to abandon their amusement park to Owlman's sentinel forces.

Nice recap of the event gray! just for a note, I guess I should've been more clear. The device didn't directly create Archis' split personalities, but it led to Katie's capture, which led to the creation of Archis. just for future reference. :P

The RP Crisis Sequence One: Exploring the Multiverse

Exploring the Multiverse Part 1: Dark Reflections

Earth 3
Rp #6 Recap:

In retaliation to Owlman's forces seizing control of Amusement Mile, the Gotham streets are occupied with clown rioters comprise of the the Jokester's Clown faction survivors that escaped the massacre in the Amusement Mile assault, and Gotham Citizens joining in the anti-Crime Syndicate movement. Demanding the end of the Owlman and all Crime Syndicate influence in Gotham; the rioters have been covering entire buildings with the Jokester's Faction Tags, vandalizing local businesses that pay protection money to the Crime Syndicate, and targeted and abducted dozens of dirty GCPD officers involved in the Amusement Mile Assault.

As the riots continue to gain momentum and expand in numbers, the Owlman sends an alert to Crime Syndicate agents in vicinity to the street protests with instructions to destroy the protest and to show the rest of Gotham the fate of those who challenge the Crime Syndicate. Answering the alert, Sith Baconitus (Earth 3 counterpart of Blazing Bacon) and the Silver Bullet enter the heart of the Clown revolt and attack the protestor. The Crime Syndicate villains are joined by the demented sorceress: Adora (Earth 3 counterpart of Adora) who attacks the clown rioters in a fit of madness.

Although the Clown protestors try to fight back, the crime Syndicate villains slaughter a large number of rioters forcing the Jokester to react. In an effort to distract the villains from killing further protestors, an ice cream transporting several of the Jokester's higher rank Clowns armed with rocket launchers arrives at the brawl and open fire at the villains to give the Civilian protestors a chance to escape. While bringing down the rocket launching clowns, the villain discover the ice cream truck is carrying the Jokester himself. While Adora amuses her herself by torturing the Jokester's gang survivors, Sith Baconitus roasts the ice cream truck as the Silver Bullet fires multiple rounds into the truck. Searching the vehicle they discover the lifeless Jokester, killed by the combination of bullet wounds and exposure to intense heat.

With the demise of the only hero that could oppose the Owlman, the Crime Syndicate commences their final strategic strikes against the severely weakened Gotham branches of the Justice Underground to secure the Crime Syndicate's complete and permanent control over Gotham City.

Earth 3
Rp #7 Recap:

Reaching the final stages of his plans to seize complete control over all of Gotham, the Owlman begins focusing his forces to attack strategic strongholds for the Justice Underground. Attempting to fill the void in Justice Underground Gotham leadership after the death of the Jokester, the Quizmaster has temporarily taken postion overseeing the majority of Gotham's Underground movements.

Sending out an alert to all Gotham based Justice Underground heroes, the Quizmaster attempts to organize the heroes into strategic groups to defend the various underground bases of operations before he is forced to abandon his hideout in Monarch Playing Card Company after his forces sustain heavy loses from corrupt GCPD officers and Owl Sentinels.

Deploying a squadron of Owl Sentinels, Owlman attacks one of the Justice Underground's bases in the Botanic Gardens. Aware of the impending attack, the Charlatan arrived on scene along with the void priestess: Voidra who entered Earth 3 in an attempt to prevent the forces of good from being completely destroyed. Also in the park, the mentally unstable Adora is watering plants unaware of the battle taking place around her.

As the Owl Sentinels arrive, the Charlatan and Voidra battle the wing armors and succeed in destroying two out of the six combat drones, while Adora uses her magic powers to create two animal plant hybrids to act as her friends and defend her from the Owls.

After the two plant creatures are ripped apart by a barrage of owl shaped shurikens, Adora looses control of her emotions and powers and turns two Owl Sentinels inside out. As the Charlatan and Voidra neutralize the final two Owl Sentinels, Adora skips off into the park and vanishes from sight.

With the battle done, Voidra leaves Earth 3 to fulfill her other obligations to the multiverse while the Charlatan goes off to defend other Justice Underground bases that are under attack.

Earth 3
Rp #8 Recap:

Although usurped from his secret hideout, the Quizmaster uses his underground connections with the Falcones to arrange the interception of two containment canisters containing the latest in experimental prototype nanite technology engineered by Raymond Palmer to be delivered to the Owlman. Requiring the nanite canisters for his plans to dominate Gotham City, the Owlman alerts his agents in the Crime Syndicate to track a distress signal set on the containers and retrieve the nanite canisters.

The Silver Bullet and the Crimson Bowman track the signal to Cape Carmine Shipping Yard where they locate the canisters being boarded onto a ship that is patrolled by a combination of Falcone guards and Commissioner Wayne's GCPD officers. Attacking with lethal efficiency, the two Crime Syndicate agents take down the guards and patrol officers battling their way onto the boat just as the ship set out to sea to leave Gotham.

Splitting up, the Silver Bullet goes to steer the ship back to the Gotham Shipping Yard while the Crimson Bowman descended to the lower decks to secure the nanite canisters; however as both villains are ambushed by Justice Underground agents hell-bent to undermine their objectives. As the Crimson Bowman battles with the Masked Luchador the powerful steroid enhanced wrestler in the cargo quarters, while above the Silver Bullet battled a crowbar swinging crime fighter donning the common the vigilante alias: the Red Hood.

After a lengthy battle between the two Crime Syndicates and Justice Undergrounds, both villains triumph as Crimson Bowman electrocutes the Luchador into unconsciousness and the Silver Bullet forces the Red Hood to dive over the side of the ship. Changing course back to Gotham and transporting the nanite canisters to the open deck, the Silver Bullet and the Crimson Bowman meet on the open desk as Owlman arrived to retrieve the canisters and learned of the two defeated Justice Undergrounds. Although at first unconcerned by the revisal of the commonly used persona of the Red Hood he is alarmed by Justice Underground's discarded crowbar and leaves in a brooding unsure state.

Earth 3
Rp #9 Recap:

Unsettled by the familiar crowbar and the appearance of a new Red Hood, the Owlman finds himself unsure over whether or not his arch nemesis the Jokester is truly dead. Knowing that the Jokester's powerful influence in igniting Gotham riots against the Crime Syndicate, the Owlman realizes the need to settle once and for all whether or not the clown has truly expired.

Contacting by encrypted frequencies two trusted Crime Syndicate agents: Chela Nava for her loyalty to Owlman's cause and talents in eradicating unwanted trails as well as the Silver Bullet for his discrete professionalism and skills in lethal precession; Owlman tasks the two to secretly steal the body of the Jokester hidden in the Gotham Mercy General Hospital morgue for the Owlman to examine in his own autopsy.

Using Chela's connections, she and the Silver Bullet infiltrate the hospital under the guise of a patient and doctor respectively while Chela's body guards obtained an ambulance for transporting the body. Their operation is nearly compromised when a patient recognizes Chela Nava however she is shot by the Silver Bullet using a silencer handgun.

Maintaining their disguises the two imposters find the morgue and quickly eliminate the two doctors working inside and set about finding which drawer contains the Justice Underground Clown's remains. As the Silver Bullet hides the bodies, Chela locates where the Jokester body is being stored. While the Silver Bullet takes the body out to the awaiting ambulance, Chela removes any records of the Jokester's presence from the hospital records.

Leaving the hospital she is contained by the Owlman who sets up an unexpected meeting with Chela in a nearby alley away from all prying eyes. In the cover of darkness, the Gotham Crime Syndicate Head reveals to Chela that the major motivations behind rushing these attacks on Justice Underground bases was to act as a trial run for his latest Owl sentinels (constructed out of the stolen technology he has been acquiring) to test and improve their combat capabilities.

Enlisting Chela's journalist talents and ability to influence the minds of Gotham citizens; Owlman plans to set about mass producing the Owl Wing Armors to be integrated into Gotham under the pretense of a new police force meant to restore order and reform on the violent and criminal city and in actuality the sentinel robotic soldiers are the Owlman's means to complete his absolute control over Gotham.

More to follow in the coming weeks...
