Gangland Civil War
Gotham's crime families are still reeling from the Demon Invasion. Inside one of the best known, there is a war brewing over the fortunes and operations of the Penguin. As this war spills out into the streets , the Hoods are dragged into the internecine conflict. Which side will they come down on , besides their own?

WITH GREAT POWER...
The Cobblepot name is nearly as OLD as the City's. Old money, and dirtier than most. The "PENGUIN" has formulated and fashioned a particular brand within the dark, and grim cityscape that is Gotham.
Gotham City Police Department has failed the system, and the people ages ago. BATMAN and company (heavily involved in regaining order at large, a global level), has left the streets to be looked after, by the likes of his OWN private
associations. Unofficially deputizing a select few of lesser known and more quietly clandestine.
A new face....A NEW 'Brand' has been surging through the underbelly of the streets. One of which solely being whispered as the mentioning of a "Mr. Terrible", or " Q".
Rumor has it, The Penguin's OWN have actually wrought this cancer. An ailment not only destroying the Cobblepot finances (And name. But seeking to make a move against the MAN as well.
Skirmishes all about have mustered. Hero and villain alike being in the middle, whether indirectly or defiantly supportive have become involved. Where does this put the long struggling Gothamite future? Business and economy will collapse, and population will decrease leaving The Historical Mega-City in defiant turmoil.
Upstarts and inexperienced now man the GATES.
It is a time of troubles. trouble that could potentially cause a ripple for a Cataclysmic disaster. A time for the next generation to step up, and take what is inherited them. Villain and criminal make no difference. Civil strife is forcing allegiances among the oddest of bedfellows.

GANGLAND CIVIL WAR(part 2)
THEME: Inter struggle among Gotham gangland BIG Heavies.
(This event takes place, directly after the Demon Invasion.)
PREMISE: The PENGUIN is suffering a " coup d'état". Little is known on Whom or Why? Skirmishes across the city scape erupt. All of which are located at MAJOR institutions of PENGUIN business.(And affiliates)
BACKGROUND:
Upon the setting of this event. The Organization loosely known as "the Hoods." Came to discover one of their primary facilities of distribution and affairs were under attack. REMUS database at the Hoods Headquarters notified the nearest available members to respond, as per their GPS. Leading Dark Lytning ( Formerly known oocly as Morgan Donner), Grim Phalanx, and a squad of Hoods security.
They were met by an individual who named himself 'Ogilvy]', introduced the representatives of the Hoods with a less than respectful approach. And demanded Fealty from the Organization's income earnings. Declaring it to be of The PENGUINs declaring.
A turn of conflict occurred. (as would be expected)Resulting in heavy losses from both factions. Bad Ohman of the Hoods managed to come to his comrades, and helped to castrate the unconventional destruction and loss. REMUS managing to reroute, and deter any emergency response by way of 'tapping' into the bandwidth squelch, misdirecting the coordinates of the imminent circumstance.
Defiantly, the stalemate was met with a proposed meeting of less action, and more focused on verbal diction. Resolution was declared, and The Hoods lost merely experimental territory, and rights to sub division business fronts in that territory. And it was agreed that Cobblepot would leave them to their own earnings. THIS was not the case. The remaining auxiliary Security were decimated at each of FIVE major locations of business. Crushing the Hoods in their pocket book had been believably a routine attack, Cobblepot made his name in the past with.
The Gotham freight yards, a declared MAINLINE business location of Hoods. dealings was again attacked. This time by not only Penguin Soldiers, but a squad of Undeclared Power Armored soldiers were attacking The Penguins group as WELL as wrecking and plundering the Hoods supplies.
Again Grim Phalanx and Dark Lytning mounted to assess and halt the situation from growing exponentially. But were outgunned and nearly made casualty.
Though this scene was witnessed by a local Vigilante ( Castelliar). Intervention was nearly null and void by either he or the hoods.
MORE to come...in the continuation of this saga...as the scene is set for part 2.
(((WE would like to invite ALL from the community, with ANY character you would feel best fun with this scene.) The timing of this scene will be discussed once a bit of interest is made.

That was a lot of fun. It was funny how Supergirl actually helped the Hoods, while trying to stop the Hoods though. Haha.

Last night was my introduction as The Gray Silhouette to the rp group and rp events. I had lots of fun and was happy to be able to contribute to this creative team and felt welcomed by the group right off the bat.
At first I was concerned that the many different threats, from penguin gangs and red rocketeers, demons and burning buildings, sudden floods, and rival confrontations would cause a jumbled mess and leave issues resolved, however, the group immediately put my fears to rest as they split into interchangeable groups, dividing the many conflicts between the rp group while allowing other characters to jump in at any time.
I was amazed by how well everyone's input and collaboration fit seamlessly together to create this epic event, allowing different scenes to happen at the same time without causing any discrepancies or unnatural shifts.
I observed incredible character developments such as Super Girl's struggles to control her powers and feeling the devastation of her loss of control, Ella and Dark Lytning's tense and bitter confrontation, and AO's near end to free himself from Trigon's Realm.
Brilliant work all around! Can't wait to see how part 3 plays out, and thanks again!
