OMG! you see?!? this is what the prime example of how this elitist garbage has gotten. No. That is utterly unacceptable as you are a marvelous RPer, Galatea.
That example is ridiculous and down right hideous. We should ALL be totally ashamed with this person, whomever it is. That behavior is the absolute worst and damn it all if it's seen again, whoever did it should just leave. because they are WAY more unwelcome than Tide..
I'm serious, I'd totally RP with 20,000,000 Tides who are not elitist trash that pull that stunt, than I would anyone who does that.
GAH! I am totally ashamed of this community hearing that. Not all of the people in it persay, but the mindset that we have perfectly allowed to sweep in and just take over is unacceptable. People can not feel safe RPing a character?!? and yet the ones that are literally only acceptable because they were here before the one they are bashing are allowed to get away with this?!? disgusting! filthy! ridiculous! terrible! completely stomach turning! *furious face* I am even more pissed about all this now hearing that! I'm going to step away from the conversation to calm down before I start seeing targets on peoples faces.

I'm just going to say it. This topic has been broached in 3 different forum types. And they all have the same thing.
I'm not even going to write my response here, even though this is where it really belongs. Too tired after doing it twice already.
And for the love of God, whoever said that crap to Galetea, I hope you are happy with yourself. Trolling is not something I tolerate. If I ever find out who you are, you will be summarily dealt with.

sorry about that Jae, I'll work on getting everyone centered to either Break Room or this thread. I already requested we all stop speaking in the Event post. Which is exactly where it should not have all started from to begin with.
As for the person who did such horrible things to Galatea. I as a Moderator, looked into the issue and if I see the person anymore, be it on this forum, or in game I will personally make sure they get what is coming to them. If it happens here and Moderators find out about who does it, the mods will NOT tolerate it. If you are found to be the one who caused it you can be removed from posting privileges until you correct your treatment with the victim, can be passed to your in game league leader to be handled, and in worst case Moderators can contact Run board administrators and they can remove your ISP address and lock it from Run board forums access period.
which, as an old runboard forum RPer myself, yes the latter result can and has happened before. I have personally witnessed it. So fair warning to you all don't treat people in such terrible manners. There are always ways to tend to matters.

At this point I'm fairly convinced it's mostly Shar stirring up trouble. I'm not so naive as to think there isn't an a-hole or two out there who might be privately harassing people but if that's the case, why aren't they reported... And from what I'm reading here, most of the name calling and abuse is being posted by Shar.

Who are you? Do you RP in the game? Do you watch /rp channel? If you do, then you would know that what she is talking about is constant. She is not stirring up anything, and in fact, she is trying to quell things.
Much of the name calling was deleted, cause it does not belong on the forum. This is a place to discuss things, not flame eachother. I asked everyone to keep things civil, and I have deleted many posts that might throw off what is said, out of context.
But I ask you again. Do you ever watch RP? I know you RP with your league, but do you really watch what goes on? Do you watch other RPs? If you did, you would have an answer to what happens and know that it is now Sharr at all. There is a cancer in this community and for to long, we allow it. We torture new players if we do not like their first character or way they RP. The whole "IT is a Tide or SL character" needs to stop. Let new people learn. Let new people contribute. Do not cut them off cause of one character. Let them have a chance.

I'm AlephNull, should be easy enough to figure out by doing a search on my posts. I do RP in game and I watch the channels at least 3 nights out of the week. To avoid fueling the fire, I will break my point down to this: the community is not the rotten apple it's being made out to be. We have a few obnoxious loudmouths, but human nature being what it is, I think that's probably unavoidable and best served by the /ignore command. The posts I've been seeing are only coming across to me as badmouthing the community and making it look like we're overrun with emotional reprobates, when, with a few disappointing exceptions, most of us can be fairly mature and helpful. We don't always all agree, but as long as we can keep our disagreements civil, there is nothing wrong with that.

well i can tell you I DId report the person in game. I just am a very...low drama person, so I can find other things to do with my time, make different characters.
